Stories have to be told or they die, and when they die, we can't remember who we are or why we're here.
Come with us to share the magic of storytelling through the mystical paths of Andros!
You can listen to Greek myths and traditional stories from all over the world. Mermaids, nymphs, magic and fairies. Andros, is full of water sources and thus well known for fairies!
People have seen them and you might see them too!
We follow mystical paths, by the riverbed, under the bridges, we tell our stories on the sunset, surrounded by old trees! For children from 5 until 95 years old. Storytelling has been between people since the beginning of humanity because is one way f communication and sharing between each other. Before tv strikes in our lives people from any nation even a tribe were sharing sad, comic, terror, love stories magic stories or even stories that can give explanation and answers to people deep fears or simply questions. Therefore families or friends in a circle with food and drinks were passing their time around somebody that would dare something to say. We can name that one a storyteller. Nowadays when human rythm is getting even more and more pressing and time lacks and books are vanishing due to computers and as life is becoming cruel impersonal, there comes again the story telling the myths and the fairytales in..fashion. Truly when you hear a story which is very old or full of magic the fantasy and the personal sentiments are unique! All of us I hope, had a granny or an aunt or someone which gave us a story when we were kids and I am sure nobody forgot it. A good storyteller has to like what he is doing to love and support the story that he chooses to share and respect the source from where he got it sticking to the bones of the story as we say.
The only thing he does finally is to decorate the story on his own unique personal way! The stories are referred to everyone to all ages and they all have something special to give to each one of us personally. Try to listen to some stories and believe me you won’t miss instead you will earn value to your life and as we storytellers say stories are birds which fly away and when they come to lean on our shoulders either we take them with us either we let them fly to another.
